I’m Kristen,
a white, cis-gender, able-bodied woman who identifies as she/her/hers. My goal here on earth is to embody and inspire a deep sense of freedom within myself and others, empowering all of us to live fully. I recognize the deep privilege I hold in this world and because I believe in freedom for all, I am committed to challenging and dismantling systems of oppression specifically against marginalized folks and the forces that hurt our earth. I want to illuminate our interconnectedness and I advocate for care at all levels, starting with yourself.
My commitments
As someone you’re trusting to guide and support you, I believe it’s essential to share the principles and actions that keep me accountable in our work together.
I commit to creating and upholding love and compassion for myself, others, and this beautiful planet we get to inhabit.
I commit to a life long learning in my practice, evolving alongside others, and I will admit when I don’t have the answers or the right guidance to offer. As I change, I will continue to adapt my offerings based on new insights, knowledge, and perspectives.
I commit to taking accountability when I make mistakes and work towards repair of harm.
I commit to cultivating freedom in myself, my communities, and especially towards marginalized folks through actions such as sliding scales, scholarships, reparations and donations to mutual aid funds. This includes continually checking my own privilege.
I commit to fostering hope and joy, working towards a better future.
What makes me qualified to be a coach or a facilitator?
In addition to serving in both corporate and nonprofit worlds as an advisor to key decision makers, I’ve worked closely with survivors of violence to develop resources, hold space, and facilitate mental well-being initiatives. These experiences have made me deeply trauma-informed and also aware of what my own capacity is.
I also completed in June of 2025 a 9-month certification course for Somatic Training through the Somatic Nature Therapy course in Boulder, Colorado.
